Msc Psychology is a 2 year full time postgraduate course which is divided into 4 semesters. A degree of Master of Science in Psychology provides students with both academic as well as practical knowledge in the field of psychology. Psychology is the scientific study of the behaviour and the mind of humans. The examination of human behaviour helps psychologists in working towards a better understanding of human activity. M.Sc in Psychology deals entirely with the aspects of science and research associated with the subject. It implores its practical applications and equips students with the correct skill set and frame of mind for a career in this field. Students do a researches and lot of community extension works which not only helps the children with a practical learning experience but also to better understand and do interventions accordingly for the betterment of a society.

Eligibility: BA / Bsc psychology degree or any other degree with psychology papers and and aggregate of at least 50% marks
The main aim of the course is to help Postgraduates understand various psychological factors affecting the mental health of a person and apply the same in practical cases. To develop each and every student to be a responsible psychologist towards the society and also to pave the foundation for a bright career are another major goals.

(Writing a competent paper in APA style, utilizing and evaluating basic statistical techniques in psychology-SPSS, being able to locate, read and evaluate the primary literature in psychology and related disciplines, etc.)
